Ben Burris is a Trained Actor, Puppeteer and Theatre Artist. He has a BFA in Theatre and has been working with puppets for 13 years. He’s worked with Bunraku, Hand, Rod, Giant, Full Body, Shadow and Found Object Puppets. For 7 years he worked with Thistle Theatre, touring children’s puppet shows in the greater Seattle area as well as in Atlanta for the Center of Puppetry Arts. He has also designed and built puppets for several shows. Most recently he designed and built puppets for a Seattle Production of Hand To God by Robert Askins, in which he also played Jason/Tyrone winning him Outstanding Actor at the 2018 Seattle Gregory Awards along with Best Production and Best Ensemble.
Currently Ben is working on TV treatments of Puppet Shows for adults that he has created.
